The plastic handle was developed to create an acupuncture needle designed for exceptionally stable and highly controllable handling. This grip technology emerged from modern manufacturing processes in which the handle is injection-molded directly onto the needle or firmly attached to the needle shaft as a plastic tube.
Unlike softer handle variants, the plastic handle offers greater rigidity, making it easier to guide the needle precisely. In everyday clinical practice, this feature can help with orientation during insertion.
The combination of a rigid handle, a precise tip, and a smooth surface makes this needle variant a functional solution for various forms of acupuncture. While it is not suitable for heat treatments, it excels through its ease of use and clear control.
